SOUTHERN SCHOLARS

Ellen Wolaner is a mission-driven finance executive with decades of experience across the public, private and nonprofit sectors.  In the nonprofit space, that experience includes leading finance and operations at Wallin Education Partners, the highly respected provider of college scholarships and support services to low income students from the Twin Cities, Minnesota.  She sees college education as a key to leveling the playing field for low income students of color, their families and their communities.  Ellen has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University.
